Funding Eligibility
From 1 January 2023, this course has been part of the Fee Free Training program. Course fees will be 100% subsidised by the WA State Government for eligible students. Places are limited (refer to Jobs and Skills WA for current program information).
To be eligible for free training you must meet both criteria:
- Be a West Australian resident
AND - Be an Australian citizen, or a permanent visa holder, or hold one of these visas:
- Visa subclass 300, 309, 444, 445, 449, 461, 785, 786, 790, 820
- Secondary holder (spouses and dependants) of visa 188, 457, 482, 489, 491, 494
- 050 & 051 Bridging Visa E subclass holders who have applied for subclass 785 or 790
- Bridging visa holders with work entitlements who have applied for 866 subclass
Training is subsidised by the Government of Western Australia for eligible students. Fees and eligibility criteria apply. Places are subject to eligibility & availability.

Greenhouse Education’s Admission Requirements
To enrol, you must show:
- A satisfactory level of language, literacy, numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills (confirmed at enrolment)
- A genuine desire to work in the Early Childhood Education and Care profession
- If you are aged 18 or over: you must be eligible for a current Working with Children Check (WA)
Work placement & checks (read before enrolling)
This qualification includes mandatory work placement in a regulated/approved Early Childhood Education and Care service. For placement, host services may require checks such as a Working with Children Check and/or National Police Clearance.
